Appearance: Off-white to pale yellow waxy solid or flakes. Melting point: 72 ~ 78 ℃. Insoluble in water, soluble in hot organic solvents. It has hydroxyl and carboxyl groups on the same molecule. Good thickening and gelling properties for oil systems. Excellent heat stability and low volatility.
